Johan Tahon's work Zon (SUN) Anima/Animus will be intalled in Ostend, in the centre of the Spiegelmeer Lake (Maria-Hendrika Park) on 14 January at 2.30pm. The sculpture will be placed on a base in the centre of the Spiegelmeer Lake and a 'Seaking' helicopter will attach its top part.

Hamid el Kanbouhi will present his video-installation Mobiel (part of his Dutch Dream installation) in Netherlands Media Art Institute,

Memoriaal, an installation by Philip Aguirre, made for the Museum Kazerne Dossin, Mechelen, will be inaugurated on 4 September 2012.
Steve Stevens will present his new body of work during the first Berlin Art Week in September in a space of Admirals Palastin. After Berlin this new oeuvre will travel to Belgium where it will be be shown in the group exhibition Down On Mainstream, curated by Koen Leemans, at De Garage and other public locations in Mechelen, from 29 September till 25 November.

Johan Tahon has been invited to participate in the exhibition GARTENCITY #1. a parallel program of Manifesta 9, the European Biennale of Contemporary Art running from June to September in Genk. The Cultural Centre of Maasmechelen was selected to organise this event in cooperation with the Museum Het Domein Sittard. The exhibition covers 5 locations in Eisden-Maasmechelen and runs from 25 August till 30 September, presenting 35 national and international artists.

Pefke, the Dutch author with the 'Gouden Boekenuil' trophee, a work by Philip Aguirre. David Pefko won the 'Gouden Boekenuil' with his novel 'Het voorseizoen', the most important literary price in the Flanders.
Steve Schepens is presenting his artwork If you can’t stand the heat, get out of the kitchen. It includes a new blue mussel dish, a cooking performance and an interview with curator David Elliott. It will be happening at the Salon of Momentum Gallery, Berlin, 9 March.

The Ruhr Area in Germany is the European cultural 'city' of 2010, RUHR2010 is the name for all cultural manifestations in various cities. Johan Tahon will realise a monumental bronze for the city of Schwerte (inauguration on 11th July).
A solo exhibition 'Confinium' will take place at the Kunstverein Schwerte (June 13 - Sept 12).
APRIL 2010
The Broelmuseum in Kortrijk will soon be showing their new acquisitions. The exhibition Nieuwe veroveringen (12/05-19/09) brings amongst others the recently acquired work 'Vincent D.' by Lucas Devriendt.
In the night of July 10 to 11, at the occasion of Kortrijk Congé, Vincent Dunoyer will do a dance performance with the work of Lucas Devriendt.
More work by Lucas Devriendt is now on show at KASK in Kortrijk; occasion is the 250th anniversary of the academy. To be visited till 25th of April.
FEBRUARY 2010
Johan Tahon's solo show 'NY Lamb' opened on February 18th at Envoy Gallery, New York. The exhibition features new ceramic sculptures and wood panel drawings created on location.
